The seventh annual L.E.A.P. (Lakeside Emporium Anniversary Party) is now history, and what a great time it was!! Make plans now for next year. Set aside the Saturday before Memorial Day 2011 to join us in the celebration. This year, as in the past, we drew for prizes every half hour that we were open. That means 12 of our customers were visited by lady luck.

Here is the list of winners and the prizes they won.

We would like to thank every one who worked to make the day a success, and a special thank you goes out to Muskegon's rising stars, Four Finger Five, for providing a great afternoon of entertainment.

We have added our own recipe Homemade Caramel Corn to our ever increasing lineup of treats. Try a bag or three today. We make it plain, with peanuts, and our deluxe version with roasted jumbo pecans. It's Mmm, Mmm, good!

Welcome to Lakeside Emporium, where we’ve been satisfying West Michigan’s sweet tooth for the past seven years. Starting small in May 2003, at our first home at 1929 Lakeshore Dr., (right across the street from our current location), we have increased our offerings to include literally hundreds of candies. From the 47 flavors of our fresh homemade fudge, to our homemade chocolate-dipped marshmallows, our delicious pralines, and the great selection of chocolates, gummies, and nuts, you are sure to find the treat you are looking for.

Try some hand dipped Ashby’s Sterling ice cream. We think it’s the creamiest, best tasting ice cream you’ll ever have. Try a cone, a pint, or an old fashioned soda, malt, or sundae. Since ice cream always tastes good, we are serving it year round.

We have also expanded our line of soda pop. Select from Faygo, Stewart’s, Henry Weinhard’s, Nehi, Crush, Sprecher's, Coke, Dr. Pepper, Jones, Moxie, and Dog-n-Suds. Try our newest variety, Flathead Lake, all great fruity flavors! All packaged the old fashioned way, in glass bottles.

Also, we remain your headquarters for those nostalgic and hard to find candies you remember from “the good old days”. Slo-pokes, Chuckles, Wax Lips, Walnettos, and tons more, it’s all here just waiting for you!
